Registration


One of the principle aims of this Conference is to encourage wide participation and to enable the cost to participants to be kept at a reasonable level.


Conference Registration


The Conference “Early Bird” fees will be:

£670  Fuel and Energy Research Forum Member

£370  Student of Fuel and Energy Research Forum Member

£990  Non-member

£550  Student of non-member


The Conference fee will include full attendance, refreshments, lunches, the Poster Buffet Reception and Dinner and the Conference Dinner. These “Early Bird” rates are available until 18th July 2025. No day rates are offered.


Guests wishing to accompany delegates for the Poster Buffet Dinner and the Conference Dinner may do so at an additional cost of £35 and £60 respectively. This will need to be indicated on the registration form during registration.



Accommodation


All participants are asked to cover their own accommodation and travel costs. Accommodation can be booked through us for the Storm Jameson Court at the University of Leeds Campus, on a first come first serve basis. .


Delegates can also book accommodation at the Holiday Inn, (link HERE) and Ibis, (link HERE) which are both 25 minute walk from the conference venue. However, such bookings will need to be made directly to the hotel by the delegates themselves. 



Site Visits


On Thursday 11th September 2025, there will be an opportunity for conference delegates to register for  three industrial site visits on a first come first serve basis. Safety boots will be required for some of these tours but you might be required to bring your own for others. Please read carefully which one The site visits will be as follows:


Veolia Recycling and Energy Recovery Facility in Leeds: (maximum 30 spaces)

 This tour will start at 14.00 and will last for approximately two hours. All PPE will be provided for this site. Please note that there will be a large  number of steps on tour, visitors must wear trousers/ long sleeves, sensible flat soled, closed toe shoes (not trainers). Safety boots can be provided by the site if required.  All other PPE will be provided by the site. No Photography/ mobile phone use allowed. 


Enfinium EfW Ferrybridge. (maximum 20 spaces)

This tour will start at 14.30 and will last for approximately one and a half hours. Please note that there will be a large  number of steps on tour, visitors must wear trousers/ long sleeves, sensible flat soled, closed toe shoes (not trainers). All other PPE will be provided by the site.


Blue Phoenix Ash Recycling Facility,  (maximum 30 spaces)

This tour will start at 14.30 and will last for approximately one and a half hours. Safety boots will be required for this site and you will need to bring your own safety boots. All other PPE will be provided by the site.
